Hi, I'm Pete
I'm the owner of Total Sign Solutions, and I've been working in the signage industry for over 10 years.
I learned my trade working for an established sign company, where a big part of my work involved producing and installing signage for a major UK retailer with stores across the country.
That gave me experience working on everything from large shopfront signage and flex face signs to window graphics, window frosting, internal signage and all the smaller details that go into keeping a brand looking consistent across different locations.
It was a great place to learn the trade properly. I wasn't just doing one part of the job — I gained hands-on experience across the whole process and learned the importance of getting things right, especially when you're working to the standards expected by a large national business.
But I'm not just someone who makes signs — I'm a small business owner too.
I started Total Sign Solutions from scratch, working from a small workshop and building the business up job by job. As the business grew, I eventually needed bigger premises and better equipment to keep up with the work.
I've even built my own app to help manage surveys, jobs and quotes as the business has grown. I'm always looking for ways to improve how I work and make the whole process smoother for my customers.
And because I've built a business myself, I understand what it's like when you're starting one.
There are a hundred things that need paying for, budgets matter, and you still want your business to look professional from day one.
That's why I don't believe good signage should automatically mean choosing the most expensive option.
If you've got a budget, tell me. I'll work with you and explain what we can realistically achieve for it. Sometimes a straightforward flat sign is exactly what a new business needs. Other times it might be worth investing more in 3D lettering, illumination or a complete shopfront.
I'd rather help you get the right sign for your business than sell you the most expensive one.
I'm hands-on with the work too. From discussing your initial ideas and designing the job through to production and installation, you're dealing with someone who understands the trade and genuinely cares about how the finished job looks.
Today, Total Sign Solutions works with new and established businesses across Wirral and the surrounding areas, producing everything from shop signs and illuminated signage to vehicle graphics, window graphics and bespoke signage.
